The eight-year-old Chinese Tao comes to Vienna and witnesses the murder of his relatives in their Chinese restaurant. The two perpetrators discover Tao, but he escapes and follows the recently blind Ester to her apartment to hide. The police officers Decker and Kriesch take over the case. However, this increases the danger for Tao, because the officials are the perpetrators. They have murdered on behalf of the Russian mafia and are now supposed to kill the witness as well.
